How to ask here
The Ask works when the request is small enough to answer.
"Help me find a job" cannot be answered by anybody. "I have eleven years in supply chain, I am being pushed toward a role I do not want, and I need to know whether my experience means anything outside manufacturing" can be answered by three people before lunch.
So the format is:
Where you are. Two lines. Role, years, what changed. What you have tried. One line. It stops people repeating what did not work. The one thing you need. A review, an introduction, a straight answer, a reality check. One.
Then come back and tell us what happened. That is the part that makes this room worth the next person's time.
